Option 3: Village Green pick'n'mix

Option 3 has been split into an (a) and (b) choice. Each is designed to provide the benefits to the community of Option 2 - including the outdoor gym equipment - but to also provide facilities for skating or wheeled sports.

Option 3 (a) would include a half pipe or quarter pipe for skating, along with skating jumps and ramps - while Option 3 (b) would include a BMX track.

It is anticipated that these facilities would remain unlit so as to minimise visual impact. However, low level 'light posts' should be installed around the equipment to allow safe access and egress for users during dusk - and provide some background illumination to promote public safety.

The two possible location sites are the same as for Option 2 - adjacent to the current play area or near the toilet block and mobile library park.
