Applying for partnership funding

Grant Partnership Funding Application Form ImageSurrey Heath is one of the safest boroughs in one of the safest counties in England. Nevertheless, the Partnership recognises that there are things we can all do to make the area an even safer place to live, work and visit.

The Partnership welcomes funding applications from community and voluntary groups for one-off community safety projects that meet one or more of its Partnership Action Plan objectives.

The Partnership Action Plan is a 'live' strategic document, which sets out the Partnership's community safety priorities.

For 2010/11, these are:

  • To reduce fear of crime
  • To reduce public place disorder
  • To reduce priority crimes
  • To reduce substance misuse

When submitting a bid, applicants must show how their project will help achieve Partnership Action Plan objectives and demonstrate how funds will be utilised. Information on target audience, geographical area covered and timescale of projects are also required.

Successful bidders must submit quarterly reports as well as an evaluation after 12 months to demonstrate their project's impact on community safety. Evidence of expenditure is also a condition of funding.
