Safer Surrey Heath Partnership
The Safer Surrey Heath Partnership continually reviews the projects it supports to ensure they satisfy residents' and businesses' concerns about community safety.
The government has made available a great deal of money over recent years to help reduce crime, both to crime and disorder reduction partnerships and to voluntary and community groups. This has been achieved primarily through a series of topic-related funds, each aimed at a specific crime type (such as burglary) or a specific crime solution (for example CCTV).
The Partnership meets quarterly, with one of its primary aims being to review funding applications and resources. The Partnership welcomes applications from community-based organisations. The application process is simple and decisions can be made quickly throughout the year.
Demonstrating project validity
All successful bidders will be required to submit a project report back to the Partnership on how its project/initiative is helping to achieve its crime and disorder reduction targets. Evidence of expenditure must also be provided. Statistical information will be required where applicable, to help build intelligence.
If you would like to make an application for funding, please download and complete the form below then return it to Jacqui Walker, Policy Officer, Strategy and Policy, Surrey Heath Borough Council, Surrey Heath House, Knoll Road, Camberley, Surrey GU15 3HD.
Remember, securing funding from other sources in addition to the Partnership will add weight to your application.
