

About: Spring in Surrey will be showcased at the exciting Surrey Heath Show which returns in early May. Launched in 2008 and now in its fourth year, the Surrey Heath Show has proved to be a popular day out with upwards of 10,000 visitors attending. Hosted at Frimley Lodge Park, the event provides entertainment for the whole family including arts and crafts, a dog show, fun-time for children, stalls, live music and classic cars. Two new activities for 2010 are a football tournament organised through Surrey County FA and an owl display. Admission is free!

The 2009 show raised £13,000 for the Mayor's charity together with other fundraising activities throughout his mayoral year, assisting in excess of 25 local not-for-profit organisations with donations. Examples include: West End Village Society, Bisley Residents Association, Girlguiding Camberley West District, High Cross Church, Chobham Museum, Christopher's Smile, Frimley and Camberley Cadet Corp, plus many more!
